You have given my dad a daily purpose, a second home & family. A place where everyone knows his name. My mom, brothers & I secretly call him the King of Gjusta. It’s such a thrill to accompany him for his coffee & scone & literally watch & stand in his wake as every single member of the Gjusta family greets him with a wide smile (the eyes above the mask give it away), the warmest energy & somewhere to sit in “his own chair” right away. This is no small act of kindness. This is a bold decision by every soul at Gjusta to decide in their hearts that this 85 year old man with his walker is not only worth their time but their honor & love. Thank you with all my soul for this priceless gift to my dad. I will always be deeply grateful for Gjusta ~ Zip’s daughter, Lara

My father just passed away and reading about Mr Ed comforts me in a way that I cannot describe. The small acts of devotion that mean everything is what comes to mind. What a blessing. Thank you Gjusta family, LA family and our world family.

This is so heartwarming! Thank you for writing this. I love learning about Mr. Ed and Gabe. The Gjusta family is truly special. You each should be proud of the space you create every day that is warm and welcoming, and offering up some of the best dam food!
