What is it? And why is it white?

Never in my life had I heard of, let alone seen, white salmon — until I started working at Gjelina. My name is Travis Larson and I am a member of the Gjelina Farmers Market Team. I love learning about all the different fruits and vegetables California has to offer. Growing up on the Central Coast, it was impossible for me not to fall in love with where our food is grown and respect all the hard work that goes into showcasing the edible beauty nature has to offer. Since I joined the Gjelina team almost a year ago, I have learned there's so much more to know about our food and the amazing people who bring it from the fields to our plates.
