Gjournals is a combination of long and short form stories, poems, photos, illustrations, songs, and videos that represent the melting pot that is of the 400 strong Gjelina Group crew, our vendors, the customers who frequent our spaces locally and from afar, and the friends and mentors we meet along our way.
Gjournals is a space where contributors share stories around the subjects of farming practices, seasonal eating, community, and social justice. Our goal with Gjournals is to establish interconnectivity with the reader to the communities, food, and practices that shape the Gjelina Group.
We're excited to send you three posts a week.
Every Tuesday and Thursday, expect a piece of our Gjelina Group community in your inbox: a Family Meal recipe, what we're listening to in the kitchens, a Q&A with one of Gjusta Goods' vendors, or how we advocate for a stronger, more equitable food system.
On Saturdays, we will send paid subscribers our Gjelina Group Goes to the Market Feature, where we highlight the best of what’s in season and the farmers and families that harvest our food. Our beverage director will also share his favorite wine that week and what makes it so unique.
Paid subscribers will also have access to any recipes that come along with Tuesdays and Thursdays posts. Founding members will receive all content, plus an exclusive Gjelina Group hat shipped to their door.
All proceeds from Gjournals subscriptions will go directly to The Gjelina Group Foundation, a 501c3 registered public charity dedicated to uplifting communities through the support of programs committed to food, farming, arts, and environmental sustainability.
Gjournals encapsulates aspects of our past, our now, and our future. Thank you for joining along the route, never perfect, always us.
